Mrs. Shoe Pilot had a little trouble backing into the driveway today.
Luckily, it was easy to get out. I stacked up my drive-on oil change ramps under the dangling wheel and she was able to just back up onto the concrete. Once back on solid ground I put the car up on the ramps and it's all good underneath.

dropping the wheel off the concrete is certainly a no-go

Nice car! Have you done a review at some point that I missed?

I've definitely given some impressions, but never a full review because I'm kinda lazy. You'll have to look back about 3 years to find them.
Spoiler Alert - I dig it. It's a pretty neat car and if your commute fits the average commute it's designed for it's a great way to get to and from work. Also, with the ICE under the hood, it's an electric car that you could have as your ONLY car.

We as in it was built here in the states, or we as in you work for GM on the Volt team?

Nope, just glad it was something Chevy came up with. We got some talent.

This is NOT how you drain the battery in the volt.

Yikes! Any long-term damage? Looks like it just sat on the control arm. I just had to have the battery-belly pan replaced under my Volt. Not sure what ripped it down.

no damage. a little scraping on the control arm is all. as accidents go, it was the best one.
